LatinPack Chile 2018, to be held on June 7 and 8, 2018, in Espacio Riesco in Santiago will be the meeting point of the packaging industry and its value chain for the exchange of knowledge, presentation of new technologies and research, new materials and supplies, services, clean energies, waste management, networking and commercial exchange among the players in the industry. LatinPack Chile 2018 is organized by the Center for Packaging and Packaging of Chile - CENEM.
The objective is to expose the public, academics, authorities, businessmen and civil society the benefits of a competitive industry, high technology and professionalism prepared for the challenges of the country program "Chile promotes Healthy Food". As a complement there will be talks and workshops on the central theme of the fair that is "Packaging of the future".

Bostik, the adhesive division of the French group Arkema will introduce its resealable resin. It is an ideal adhesive for applications where resealability properties are needed, for example, for sausage, cheese, pastry or meat containers. M resin keeps food fresh longer when used with other packaging polymers. This patented resealing technology allows the reduction of food waste and reduces the consumption of packaging.
Sukano, a company with headquarters in Switzerland, will present its advances in additives for PET. It is an expert in the production of additives for applications in PET, among others: additives to reduce the yellowing, increase the intrinsic viscosity (IV), improve the resistance to breakage and scratching.
Macro Engineering & Technology of Canada is a producer of film and sheet extrusion systems that specializes in barrier film lines and extrusion machinery on demand. The Macro barrier coextrusion lines are distinguished by their versatility compared to different and complex structures. Macro will present the advances in coextrusion heads and screws.
In addition, Austral will be presenting its functional polyolefins for multi-layer packaging (Lotader®, Lotryl®, Orevac®), hot and cold end coatings for glass containers (Certincoat®, Tegoglas®), protective coatings for returnable containers (Kercoat®, Opticoat® ); all solutions of the Arkema group.
