Austral Chemicals participated with the French chemical group Arkema at Expomin in Santiago between October 25 and 29, 2021.
Both companies developed solutions to make the process of copper concentration plants more productive and sustainable. The chemical solutions are incorporated into the mineral concentration process, optimizing tailings management from the thickening stage to their deposition, as well as allowing greater water recovery.
In general terms, OPALE additives are liquid chemical solutions, ready and easy to add, which are incorporated into the process by means of a dosing pump and allow to effectively deal with operational difficulties associated with a need to decrease or increase rheology.
