In Chile, the recent recycling law of June 2016 "Ley de fomento al reciclaje" (recycling promotion law) will force packaging companies to encourage waste recovery. TheMinistry of the Environment expects to reach 30% of waste recovery in 2021. Furthermore, they face changing consumers demand, necessity to maintain product quality, freshness and efficacy, andwillingness to offer more convenient and safer packaging.
